Have you ever had the idea that maybe it would be a good thing to try to be a food vendor at a festival or event? It is hard to get started and the rules are all but overwhelming. In this interview I talk to Kurt of the 4th Avenue Merchants Association in Tucson and Mia Hansen of Tucson Meet Yourself. We talk about how to get into a big festival if you are a new food vendor. Rick Adam – Junk Band and Silly Stuff

Rick Adam/A.K.A. Professor Paddy-Whack has toured everywhere, from Maine to China. for over 30 years he's been featured on stage, television, radio, and film. Junk Band and Silly Stuff: From Garth Brooks to Bruce Springsteen – Musical Adventures with Professor Paddy-Whack Its a Rick Adam, Holiday shot! He has shared venues with Garth Brooks, Livingston Taylor, and Phish... to name a few. He appeared on the PBS series “The Lonesome Pine Specials” in 1993, and a video of the program was added to the Permanent Collection of the Smithsonian Institute. Also, in 1998 and 2000 he performed for Bruce Springsteen at his home in New Jersey. The video is a Mini-documentary on Rick Adam /A.K.A. Professor Paddy-Whack One Man Junk Band. Butcher BBQ – Dave Bouska, BBQ Competition

Jack Daniels 2009 BBQ Competition Team Butcher BBQ started in 1982 when, Dave Bouska, started to work in his first meat market. This is where he began leaning about beef, pork and poultry. From there, Dave, operated sausage markets, managed several retail and wholesale meat markets and now currently owns and operates a custom meat processing plant in Oklahoma. This is where he begun to perfect the plants, sausage, ham and bacon flavoring process. In 2006, he and his brother, started competing in the local BBQ circuit with good results and a lot of fun. Dave views BBQ competition as a fun and hobby experience. They travel all over the country to take place in the competitions. Harry Vold Stock Contractor, Colorado

Who is Harry Vold? Well, he looks like and sounds like John Wayne, if John Wayne had a brother or a double it would have been Harry Vold. Harry is a rodeo stock contractor with a deep love of horses that shows in everything he does. He is now 86 years old and runs the Harry Vold Rodeo Company out of Pueblo Colorado. He is 86 now and still loves to ride on his ranch and watch his animals. "A good bucking horse has to have the heart and disposition, they have to want to buck", says Harry. His youngest daughter Kristen is now managing the ranch, but, not of course without Harry's input. Harry's animals are never bucked more then twice a week and have the best diet and the best of care and a great ranch to roam on. Bill Rankin, of Rankin’s Ranch, CA

Bill Rankin is a real cowboy. He has been one all his life. Bill is the 4th generation of his family to live on their working cattle ranch in Walker's Basin outside of Bakersfield. He has children, three son-in-laws, and grandchildren , who work Rankin Ranch with him. In about 1965 the ranch became a guest ranch, where families come in the summer, to experience a life with no TV or computers. There is hiking and ping pong, fishing, horses, trail rides, great food, and cattle. Cindy Lou Harrington, Country Music & Atlanta

Interview - the end of June 2010 Cindy Lou performing Cindy Lou Harrington Cindy is a recording artist with Southern Tracks Records (STR). -- famous for the Atlanta Rhythm Section. STR just released her album and an additional album by with her and her daughters. Cindy started singing at age 15. Countyfairgrounds.net caught up with her singing the national anthem at one of the Braves games. On the side Cindy is a special education teacher for disabled students. She has a great sound. Solo, Harrington has kicked off the Atlanta Braves games four times with her performance of the National Anthem and has opened for internationally acclaimed motivational speakers and authors such as Wayne Dyer and Melody Beattie. She is a resident of Stone Mountain, Georgia and also spends time in Western, New York on the family property in Cherry Creek. FAVORITE MOTTO: “Dream, Plan, Act, Believe”
