The idea of course is to build a database here of the different contests and competitions. There isn’t one anywhere else I have seen. Contests and competitions are fun, relaxing and you can win some neat stuff. They also draw crowds to your event or fair
The Erie County Fairgrounds in New York has a outstanding Christmas Light Festival and this year they have added a couple cool competition contests. One is a Holiday Cookie Competition. What could be more American then that? We all overindulge with cookies anyway during the holidays…. so we might as well have some fun with them. This years competition takes place at the Marketplace Building between 6 and 8pm on Sunday, December 12; judging will take place at 8:30pm.
