The Movie Stunt Adveture you can enjoy, up to 4 Hollywood High Fall Exhibition Stunt Shows per day. In between shows fair attendees can take the brief stunt training then star in their very own stunt show for friends and family as the HD Video cameras role.

Sometimes – heaven forbid there is a wrong address or hours of the event. Countyfairgrounds.net has been around for quite awhile now. We continue to grow every year. Being a concessionaire is a tough business. There is a lot of competition. Getting booked is hard work and there are always a lot of new concessions coming along.

If you do NOT want to get booked follow these rules

1) send an email with just a link in it to a website or YouTube channel – with no verbiage in the email. It sorta looks like spam and more then likely whoever it is that you are sending it to will not open it.

2) have a icky looking old fashioned funky website. Having a website like this – that looks like a magazine old fashioned ad certainly will help you not get booked.

3) sending a video that has a cute dog or kids or showing you handshaking a crowd is certainly not relevant to what you do. These days having a very unprofessional video is a sure way not to get you booked.

4) don’t send pictures of your product. You really don’t want to get booked so why send pictures

5) send a lot of junky emails – why send one professional well written email with a video or proper pictures, when you can send lots of short choppy incomplete emails and bombard the person who is doing the booking right?

6) send the fair or event a picture of a hamburger. They probably have never seen one and maybe they will be thrilled by the photo, right?

Okay, enough of the nonsense – realistically – send one professional email. The more professional the better. An appropriate video showing your booth and set up and you at event with crowds would be appropriate, pictures of the same would be good, a menu and a picture of the inside of your booth would be nice. You might also mention briefly some of the events you have done. And, if it should be a first event you are applying for? All of the above apply, just because it might be your first event – does not mean you do not have a chance of getting booked, if your email is professional. Its like applying for a job after all.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Ricarrdo at the IAFE Convention in Las Vegas.
Ricarrdo is certainly a great artist who not only paints live and in person. He sometimes brings his whole
family into the act. He paints on stage live and very quickly to music. Ricarrdo uses a water based paint and although he makes a mess – well, it is water based paint.

Here is an interview with Bryan Wagner – event producer and owner of All Star Motorsport Productions about the history of monster trucks and how the venue got started. Bryan also manages indoor monster truck shows in the winter that are indoors.
Surprisingly little room is needed to produce one of these shows.

The Ohio State Fair was recently presented with a first place Agricultural Award of Excellence from the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) for the fair’s new “Agriculture is Cool” interactive education program held in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Ohio Farm Bureau and Ohio’s agricultural commodity groups.

The 2011 “Agriculture is Cool” program inspired by the initiative of Governor John R. Kasich included several interactive education stations throughout the Ohio State Fair at which students could learn about the many ways Ohio’s largest industry – agriculture – impacts many facets of their everyday lives.

The program, which also offered scholarships to top participants, was recognized as the best special or specific agricultural education exhibit, event or program for the fairgoing public for fairs with annual attendance between 500,001 and 1 million.

The award was presented during a special awards ceremony held on November 29 during the 121st Annual IAFE Convention. In addition, the Ohio State Fair received eight different awards in the marketing division.

Ohio State Fair General Manager Virgil Strickler explained, “The Ohio State Fair has long been a favorite family tradition and an active participant in the international community of fairs and expositions. I’m thrilled that a panel of industry leaders recognized our great state for excellence from a pool of more than 3,000 members from around the world.”

The “Agriculture is Cool” program will be open to visitors of all ages during the 2012 Ohio State Fair, July 25 – Aug. 5. For the second consecutive year, exiting fourth grade students (2011-2012 academic year) and a chaperone will be admitted for free upon presentation of a valid report card at the entrance gates.

The Ohio Expo Center is a year-round, multi-purpose convention and meeting facility. More than 150 events are held at the Ohio Expo Center annually, including the Ohio State Fair. The 2012 Ohio State Fair will be held July 25 – August 5
