The fair had 233,000 attend last year. This years fair promises to be even better. This is an interview with Joe, Public Relations, The have a seniors only day on Wed. from 11am to 3pm, which features the great leg contest, longest married couple, and oldest senior on the grounds. This fair has always been billed as a family fair and has lots of activities for the under twelve crowd, they are alcohol free, great rides and a petting zoo. The fair also has a great local talent stage. Last years hypnotist comedian is back and they have bull riding and horse shows.
Entertainment wise we have Phil Vassar on opening day, Easton Corbin on Saturday, Ricky Skaggs on Tuesday, and Danny Gorky on Wednesday. Saturday November 6th would be my favorite with The Coasters, The Platters, and the Marvelettes
on the Lakefront Stage at 8:00! ( but then of course I am senior and I really remember these guys). Sounds like a good time for all.
